Car Crashed And Abandoned On Queen's Road

Jersey Police are appealing for CCTV or dash-cam footage that shows two men abandoning a car that crashed into a granite wall in St Helier.

It happened at the bottom of Queens Road at around 7:50pm last Saturday night.

A green Mini Cooper was driving towards the Rouge Bouillon roundabout when it skidded and hit the wall near the bottom of the hill.

Two men got out of the car and left the scene before police arrived. They didn't appear to be injured.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on Monday lunchtime for failing to stop and report and driving without due care and attention.

He was released on bail on the same day.

Police want anyone who has dash-cam footage of the car or its occupants - or CCTV on Queen's Road or the surrounding roads - to get in touch.

You can contact Jersey Police on 01534 612612 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
