JERSEY TO SOUTHAMPTON HOSPITAL CHALLENGE

The Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation supports local families who have children
requiring medical treatment in the UK.
2021 is the 10-year anniversary of the charity and Grace Crocker, who spent 7 out of her 11 weeks in Southampton General Hospital. In Grace’s memory we have set the challenge to run, walk or jog 164 miles - the distance from Jersey Hospital to Southampton General Hospital.
The challenge can be completed throughout February and can be tackled individually or in
teams of between 2 and 6. The challenge is virtual so can be completed anywhere - inside,
outside, alone or with friends and family (socially distanced). The miles can also be split in
any way that suits your team, meaning anyone can get involved.
Throughout the event, we will also be encouraging people to share photos of their walks or
runs on the Facebook Event Page to keep people connected during these difficult times.
The event is free to enter but we ask that each entrant aims to raise a minimum of £50 for
The Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation, so that we can reach even more local
families needing our support in 2021.
Fundraising is easy, and every participant will be given their own online fundraising page, so there will be no need to handle cash. There will also be some fantastic prizes for our top fundraisers. Donations can also be made on the event page for those who cannot take part but still wish to support the event.
