Three Jersey branches of Lloyds pharmacy will close this month.
The UK chain says it is part of a review of its pharmacy estate.
Signs have gone up in the windows of the affected Lloyds pharmacies notifying customers of their imminent closure.
A statement from the group says it has made the 'difficult decision' to close stores at David Place, Indigo House and St Brelade.

“The decision to close a pharmacy is very much a last resort and is only taken after all alternative options have been thoroughly explored. Any decision is always taken in the interests of patients, colleagues and the business.”
Employers from those shops are being offered jobs at the remaining local branches.
“With a large network of community pharmacies on the Channel Islands, LloydsPharmacy is confident that patients and customers will continue to have excellent access to local community pharmacy services.”
