The UV index with Smart Scaffolding tells you each day how strong the sun’s ultraviolet rays are in Jersey. A higher number means there is a bigger risk of skin and eye damage. If the index is three or higher, it’s a good idea to use sun protection. An easy-to-understand scale helps you know when to put on sunscreen, find shade, or wear protective clothing.
