The bank says it is simplifying operations as finance becomes increasingly digital.
RBSI is part of the NatWest Group and is headquartered in Jersey.
It operates in Guernsey, the Isle of Man, London, Luxembourg and Gibraltar.
In a brief statement the bank says:
“We are committed to delivering long-term value for our customers and supporting sustainable growth across all our jurisdictions.
"To help us achieve this, we recently announced changes to simplify how we operate and ensure we remain focused on delivering the best possible service to our customers.”
RBSI is centralising some roles but does not specify which these are.
It says the people affected will be supported by 'offering alternative roles where possible under ring fencing rules and regulations.'
