Channel 103 and Standard Bank Offshore's Brighten Up Blue Monday campaign has awarded three Jersey charities £500 each, after a record-breaking number of nominations.
Jersey Employment Trust, The Wellness Hub and Happy Heroes are the winners of this year's grants, which aim to put a positive spin on Blue Monday.
Islanders have been encouraged to choose charities and community groups that they would like to see benefit from the extra cash, turning a day that has, in recent times, been dubbed 'the most depressing day' of the year into one of celebration.
In total, 151 charities were put forward, and 1,455 nominations were made, marking the highest number of entries since the initiative began four years ago.

Alastair Gallichan, Head of Brand and Marketing for Jersey at Standard Bank Offshore, says seeing so many people take the time to nominate a local charity shows just how strong and supportive our community really is.
"Brighten Up Blue Monday is about celebrating that spirit, recognising everyday heroes and spreading some cheer when it’s needed most.
"We’re proud to be behind an initiative that brings people together and shines a light on the incredible work happening here in Jersey.
"Standard Bank Offshore is committed to supporting the communities in which we operate."
