Three people coming into Jersey over the weekend have been charged with drugs offences.
40-year-old Janice Mawdsley from the UK, who arrived on a flight from Liverpool on Saturday 16 April, appeared in the Magistrate's Court on Monday 18 April and has been remanded in custody after customs officers found approximately six ounces of cocaine in a bag.
It has a street value of up to £25,000.
Cannabis was also found concealed in a vehicle arriving from Poole on Saturday 16 April.
The government says 31-year-old Reinis Niedre-Zvejnieks from Latvia and Saffron Rose Day, who is 21 and from Hull, are due to appear in court 'in due course.'
