Jersey teenage sensation Filip Nowacki has won silver in the men’s 100m breaststroke at the Commonwealth Games.
The 18-year-old finished ahead of Adam Ramsay-Peaty, but was pipped to gold by Sam Williamson of Australia.
It’s Jersey’s first Commonwealth Games medal since Colin Mallett won gold in Auckland in 1990.
Nowacki will also be competing in the 50m and 200m events, with confidence that he can secure more podium positions.
