Registration has opened for this year's Jersey Marathon.
It's taking place on Sunday 2 October.
Organisers are planning a full return of the race after two years of switching to a run from home challenge because of the pandemic.
More than 2,500 runners usually take part every year, with half of them travelling in from other countries for it.
Last year's event was hampered by Covid restrictions.
Race Director Andrew Thomas says interest in this year's marathon is looking promising.
"It’s been a challenging two years for the Jersey Marathon Trust, due to the ongoing covid-19 restrictions, but thanks to the ongoing support from our sponsors and the local community, we feel we can plan forward and be more confident for 2022 with a return to a larger event that allows us to welcome back more visiting and elite runners.
The early signs are positive, entries from both visiting and local runners continue to come in and we are in conversation with a few specialist sporting travel and running clubs who wish to join us in Jersey this year."
This year's event is raising money for Futuremakers, a charity set up to help disavantaged young people learn new skills and improve their chances of being employed or starting a business.
Marshal Manager Katie Millar has paid tributes to the volunteers who help out on the day. More than 400 supported last year's marathon.
"Volunteers make marathon events happen, Jersey is no different and we just could not do it without them. They are a vital part of the event’s operation, safety and support of the hundreds of runners around the course as they take on the challenge.
Thank you so much to all volunteers, and if you want to get involved in 2022, then you can register through our website jersey-marathon.com."
Online registration is live here.
The Marathon Mile is also scheduled for the same day following the inaugural event in 2021, where more than 500 runners took on the one-mile course through St Helier.
