The marathon begins at 9am from the Weighbridge, with over 2,000 runners taking on the 26.2 miles.
More than 40% of those on the start line today (5 October) have travelled to the island for the race.
In addition to the full course, there is a relay race starting at 9.30 am, and the Marathon Mile - popular with children and families - at 10 am.

Commonwealth Games triathlete Ollie Turner is returning to Jersey for the race to compete on home soil for the first time since the 2021 Super League Triathlon.
The full-time athlete is targeting a spot at the 2025 World Ironman Championships in Hawaii, and says a run over 26.2 miles will add to his resilience.
Turner is a member of Jersey Sport's Performance Sport Programme, and says he is looking forward to soaking up the event’s community atmosphere:
“I’ve not competed in any sport in Jersey for a few years, so that is something I’m really looking forward to.
“The support around the Jersey Marathon course is always amazing and whatever the result I know it’ll be worth the pain.”

Motorists are being urged to take extra care driving around the areas of the island that are on the course route.
Marshals will be ensuring everyone's safety.
