DFDS is planning to put on more sailings, with forecast bad weather set to cause disruption over the October half-term holidays.
Some services have already been cancelled, with others under review, as bad weather moves across the Channel Islands.
An extra crossing between Jersey and St Malo is planned for Monday 26 October, together with an extra Stena Vinga sailing on the Portsmouth route on Sunday 25 October.

The company is also working with its freight vessel Caesarea Trader to keep supplies moving - with the hope of the vessel arriving on Wednesday or Thursday, ahead of more challenging conditions on Friday.
Chris Parker, DFDS Route Director for Jersey, said:
"Strong winds are forecast across the Channel Islands this week and, unfortunately, some disruption to ferry services is unavoidable.
"We appreciate how frustrating this can be for passengers, particularly during the school holidays, and our teams are doing everything possible to minimise the impact.
"We are planning additional sailings and adjusting schedules wherever conditions allow. Safety must always come first, but we will do everything we reasonably can to keep passengers and freight moving."
DFDS says its contacting passengers affected by cancellations or timetable changes directly.
Anyone travelling over the coming days is being advised to check the latest information before going to the harbour.
