The Danish ferry company chosen as Jersey's new operator has shared provisional sailing times for July and August 2025.
DFDS has today (23 December) released a 'provisional schedule', listing 'typical' sailings it intends to operate to Poole, St Malo and Portsmouth in the height of the summer season, but without departure or arrival times.
The timetable had been expected last Friday, but DFDS said it was still working on it.
The full and finalised schedule for the Jersey service is now not expected to be published until 'the beginning of the new year'.
It means people hoping to travel in the spring, after DFDS take over the routes from Condor Ferries at the end of March, still have a wait to see what ferry crossings will be available.
Jersey Route Director Chris Parker says they are still having discussions with ports and stakeholders to finalise departure and arrival times for all routes.
“We appreciate that everyone is keen to learn about the schedules, and we are working to get this done as quickly as possible.
"Our focus is the get the schedules right and we want to make sure that we consider all the diverse needs of the island for both passenger and freight transport, as well as the operational dependencies of the ports we serve."
Sailings to St Malo and Poole will be onboard one of two high speed vessels -the Levante Jet and Tarifa - as announced on Channel 103 last week.
The Stena Vinga conventional ferry will operate Jersey - Portsmouth.
