DFDS has released the schedules for ferry services between Jersey and St. Malo, but it will take almost twice as long to travel between the two ports.
DFDS is operating sailings between the island and France five days a week up until May, using the Terifa Jet fast ferry.
However, the trip will take almost two hours.
The vessel holds 700 passengers and up to 175 vehicles.
People will be able to use free Wi-Fi onboard the boat, as well as shop at its boutique.
The first ferry leaves St Malo at 3:00 pm on 28 March 2025 and sets off again from Jersey at 4:50 pm.
Day trips will continue under DFDS, along with the typical longer trips.

Bookings for all services will open by 31 January.
