In celebration of what would have been Gerald Durrell's 100th birthday this year, Jersey Post is releasing animal-themed stamps.
The set, called '100 years of Gerald Durrell: Conservation', is in circulation from today (28 January).
It features animals that Gerald Durrell made it his mission to protect, including a black lion tamarin, mountain chicken frog and pygmy hog.
The world-renowned naturist's influence means that these animals are still a priority to conserve both in Jersey Zoo and worldwide.

The stamps are available to purchase from all branches of Jersey Post from today.
Prices range from 80p - £4.85 for a single stamp and it will cost £193 for the complete sheet set.

This is just one of the things Jersey is doing to pay tribute to Gerald Durrell this year.

A plaque was unveiled by Lee Durrell, fellow conservationist and Gerald's widow, at Jersey Zoo on 7 January.
Later in the year, Lee Durrell told Channel 103 we can expect a ball in September, an art installation of Gerald's favourite wildflowers as well as hundreds of celebrations taking place globally.
