A lifeboat and a drone were launched on Sunday night (28 April) to look for a paddle boarder reported off Jersey's south coast.
Jersey Coastguard initiated a sea search for a paddle boarder, reported at 9pm a mile off St Helier heading east.
A social media post appealed for urgent information, or for that paddle boarder to make contact if they' had made it safety ashore.
Jersey Lifeboat Association and a drone were called upon, not nothing was found.
Officials say the report was made with good intentions.
