A driver is in a critical condition in Jersey's General Hospital after his car hit a wall and flipped onto its side in St Ouen.
Emergency services were called to Route de Millais at around 5.20pm on Tuesday (20 January).
Firefighters cut the 50 year old man free and he was taken to hospital by ambulance with a serious head injury.
He remains in a critical condition.
Police believe his blue Toyota IQ was travelling westbound when it hit a granite wall.
No one else was inside the vehicle.
The road was closed for around five hours while collision investigators examined the scene. It reopened just after 11pm.
Officers want to speak to anyone who saw a blue Toyota IQ in the area around the time of the incident.
