500 bereaved Jersey parents have received a memory box from Philip's Footprints since the charity was founded in 2008.
The milestone has been reached just as Baby Loss Awareness Week (9 - 15 October) begins.
Philip's Footprints - a local baby loss and safer pregnancy charity - gives memory boxes to grieving families experiencing the loss of a child, from the very earliest of losses, through pregnancy, infancy and child loss up to age 18.
They contain carefully chosen memory-making items and keepsakes, as well as support information.
The charity says it is proud to have brought some comfort to so many families, but that is tinged with the sadness of knowing each box represents a life not lived.
Chair Kenan Osborne says they provide comfort and support at a tragic time:
"They're lovely, and it's just nice to know that someone is caring for you when you're whole life has turned upside down.
"If there are siblings, we also provide some books which help tell the story and explain what's happened and what their parents have gone to and how it might impact them.
Baby Loss Awareness Week will also marked by Philip's Footprints on Saturday (11 October) with its Starlight Walk . Walkers can choose to start any time between 5 pm - 7 pm and stroll the 10 km flat route from the Waterfront to St Aubin and back.
The Fort Regent dome and Elizabeth Castle join landmarks across the UK that will be illuminated in pink and blue.
The Wave of Light marks the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week on 15 October.
At 7 pm, by lighting a candle and leaving it burning for one hour, the world remembers babies that have died too soon.

This month the Philip's Footprints is hosting UK stillbirth charity SANDS, who are presenting their ‘Pregnancy and Baby Loss Bereavement Care’ training days to over 40 health professionals.
