We're being urged to nominate women who've inspired us during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Women's Refuge is holding its annual awards ceremony later this year.
Anyone in Jersey can nominate someone they feel deserves recognition.
"We are seeking nominations for women in Jersey who have inspired others through their self-less achievements, commitment and personality to help others for the greater good," Marine Oliviera, Jersey Women’s Refuge.
The 2021 Inspirational Woman of the Year Award is in partnership with Soroptimist International Jersey, who originally helped launch the Jersey Women’s Refuge in 1988.
Nominees will have:
- made a selfless contribution
- made a significant difference to an individual or group
- succeeded against the odds
- is an inspiration to others
- comes from any walk of life
- shown self-sacrifice, unwavering dedication and generosity of spirit
- led others to achieve greatness in their own right
- be a positive role model for generations to follow
The judging panel includes Inspirational Woman of the Year 2020 winner, Cheryle Raphael, Catherine Kirby, President, Soroptimist International Jersey and members of the Jersey Women’s Refuge committee.
Nominations must reach the Jersey Women’s Refuge by Friday 7 May 2021.
