A man has been jailed for 6.5 years after police found 22,000 indecent images of children on his devices.
Martin Frederick Daly (47) admitted four counts of making the photos, and four of breaching a restraining order.
More than 1,000 the downloaded images were classed in the highest category of child sexual abuse.
Daly had been required to give police officers access to his electronic devices after being convicted in December 2017 of sexually assaulting a young girl, for which he received community service.
Sentencing him to a total of 6.5 years behind bars for the offences, the Superior Number of the Royal Court said they were not victimless crimes , and that his deviant sexual preferences show a high risk of re-offending.
He has been put on the Sex Offenders' register for ten years.
