The Harbour Gallery is opening an exhibition that showcases the work of islanders living with mental illnesses.
An exhibition is being opened this evening (23 Jan) at the Harbour Gallery, showcasing work by artists living with mental illnesses.
It features work developed through the Art in Focus workshops, a partnership project delivered by Focus on Mental Illness and Art in the Frame Foundation.

Art in Focus has run the workshops since 2023, and now the harbour gallery is allowing the artists to gain creative confidence and recognition.
The works are also on sale.
Liz Kendrick-Lodge is Co-Executive Director of 'Focus on Mental Illness':
"There is a range of illnesses that someone might have, but I think the beauty of this project, as well as people describing that they're managing symptoms through being creative, but actually the project is also supporting people's mental health.
"We all have mental health, whether you have mental illness or not."
