Jersey Police have arrested a 22 year old man in connection with an attempted robbery at Morrisons on Queen's Road.
A masked man entered the store and threatened a cashier, but was chased away by a customer and left with nothing.
Detectives are still appealing for sightings or dash cam footage of the suspect in the area between 6.30-7pm last Friday evening (12 January).
He was wearing a black balaclava/ski mask, a black long-sleeved top with grey patterned/camouflage arms, grey camouflaged trousers, brown boots and black gloves. He was also carrying a white plastic bag.
