The victim of an assault in St Helier has been transferred to Southampton Hospital for treatment.
Police are appealing for witnesses to what happened at Lilly’s Mini Market on La Motte Street on Liberation Day.
They say a 'physical altercation' started inside and continued onto the pavement outside at 10.30pm last Thursday (9 May).
It's understood footage of the assault was being shared on social media. Officers want to speak to anyone with phone or dashcam video.
They are also still trying to locate a man they have released a CCTV image of. He was wearing a green Nike t-shirt and black shorts.
Another man - Joseph Ross Jordan (19) from Glasgow - has been charged with grave and criminal assault.
Two other men who were arrested following the incident have been released on police bail.
Anyone who may have seen this or who has any information is asked to contact police on 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org
