Jersey's student officers have been learning to search for missing persons in St Brelade.
The force worked as a team to locate one of its instructors in scenario-based training meant to simulate a real-life event.
People living in St Brelade may have also noticed drones with spotlights flying low.

This is to provide 'crucial' lighting for searches in large areas, it also shows how technology helps officers in their search efforts.
Jersey's Air Rescue Drone Team has been thanked for helping the training officers prepare to 'serve and protect our community'.
