More 14 to 19 year olds are being encouraged to join the Jersey Youth Assembly.
The group is a platform for young people interest in politics and shaping the future of the island.
Its first meeting of the new school year takes place next Tuesday (22 September) from 4-5.30pm.
The States Greffe says it's a brilliant chance to have your voice heard by Jersey's decision-makers.
It is also credited with helping young people build their confidence, leadership and negotiation skills and boost their university or job applications.
The teenagers involved set their agenda in terms of topics they are interested in researching. They get the opportunity to question ministers, work with scrutiny officers and hold their own parliamentary-style debates in the States Chamber.
Pip Oliver, Education Manager at the States Greffe, said: "We’d love to see lots of new faces at the first session of this school year for a taster of what you can do if you take part.
"As a flexible initiative, Members are in control of how much involvement they have so that it fits with their studies and other commitments.
"If you are aged 14-19 – or you know someone who is – fill in our quick registration form, come along and try it out on Tuesday 22 September to see what a difference you could make with the JYA.’
