Richard Falle from the Jersey Rally Committee says this year's event will give back to the community that supports the event:
"This is the first year in which we are contributing to the JMC&LCC Environmental Fund.
"All the money raised this year will go towards replanting the Railway Walk from La Corbiere to St Aubin.
"Trees for Life will be planting a wide range of trees including maritime pine, English oak, hazel, wild cherry, tamarisk, silver birch and walnut, creating a beautiful linear woodland for the whole island to enjoy.
"Each entry fee includes an individual contribution and we look forward to announcing the total raised in due course."
