A crowdfunding appeal for a Jersey nightclub has smashed its £15,000 target.
Rojo's, which has been closed since last March because of the coronavirus pandemic, has been asking supporters to donate to save it from permanent closure.
More than 550 people have pledged cash after a crowdfunded was set up last month.
In a post on the club's Facebook page, owner JP Anquetil says he's been left speechless by the response:
"At the moment we have no indication as to when the nightclub may be allowed to open so having a bit extra in reserve makes sense.
"Any funds that aren't used will be donated to charity and we'll consult everyone in advance if that is what ends up happening."
