The States decision to 'temporarily' relocate Sixth Form students to the La Mare de Carteret High School in September 2025, has not been received well online.
Following the States withdrawal from a contract with R.G Falla last week, it announced that Post-16 education will begin operating out of the preexisting Castel site in the 2025-26 academic year.
Education says it considers this to be the 'best option' with the least disruption.
The committee insists the site is well-equipped for the students to use for just a year.
But parents and carers stress that this will disrupt their children's concentration during a pivotal point in their education.
Many called the decision 'insanity', while others said they wanted the committee members responsible for this change to leave the States.
