There are plans to put in a purpose built, two storey shipping container development.
Victoria Park opened in March 2025 to provide a home stadium for the Guernsey Football Association and the Guernsey FC squads.
Now, management want to extend the clubhouse facilities with a purpose built shipping container design.
Architect Rachel Rogers from The Drawing Room says they are a popular choice:
“Container buildings are already being used successfully by football clubs across the UK as a cost-effective way of adding facilities, so it felt like a natural solution.
The two-storey clubhouse will provide additional bar and catering space, easing pressure on the existing clubhouse while creating a lively new focal point for supporters.”
Victoria Park director Rob Jones says if they get planning permission the new complex will be ready for the 2027 season:
“This proposed development represents another positive step forward, providing much-needed additional space while creating new opportunities to enhance the match day experience.
"It's a practical, cost-effective solution that will help us make even better use of the stadium, and we're excited about the benefits it could bring.”
