Storm Darragh has seen 99% of flights and sailings cancelled as winds are forecast to build across the islands.
Jersey Met earlier recorded wind gusts of 57 mph at Jersey airport and 52 mph at Guernsey airport.
Only one flight, the Blue Islands service between Guernsey and Jersey was able to make the round trip successfully early on Saturday morning, 7 December. All other services, including those to Alderney, are cancelled, as are commercial sailings.
Forecasters have renewed their rare red weather warning for wind across the islands. The advice is to avoid unnecessary travel and there are reports of trees down.
Winds are expected to build and peak early on Saturday evening.
