The family of a GP who was found dead at a property in Norfolk has paid tribute to her "kind, generous and loving" nature.
The body of Hannah Cain - known professionally as Dr Hannah Terry - was found at an address in the village of Dersingham on Sunday.
In a tribute, her family said: "We are devastated by the loss of our beautiful Hannah.
"She was kind, generous and loving; a beloved mother, daughter, sister, auntie, daughter-in-law and friend.
"We are incredibly proud of the woman she was and of the great care she took of all her patients who knew her as Dr Terry.
"We would ask people to respect our privacy at this difficult time."
Dr Cain's husband, Mark Cain, appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court earlier today charged with her murder.
He spoke only to state his name, address and date of birth, and was not asked to enter a plea.
The ambulance service contacted the police at 2.25am on 4 October, prosecutor Jacqui Hanlon told the court.
She said Dr Cain was not breathing and unconscious when she was found in an upstairs bedroom.
A post-mortem examination "noted blunt force injury to the right side of her head had been inflicted", and that the injury "could be suggestive of compression of the neck", the court was told.
Cain was remanded in custody by District Judge Matthew Bone and will appear in court again on Thursday morning.
Dr Cain was part of the practice team at Grimston Medical Centre.
She had been a qualified doctor for more than 15 years and a GP for eight.
