Jersey Police are appealing for information after a bin was set alight at a bus stop on Saturday night.
The blaze was started between Pizza Express and the Crab Shack in St Brelade's Bay at around 7.50 pm.
Jersey Fire and Rescue attended the incident, finding the bin next to the bus shelter 'completely destroyed'.
Fire damage was also seen on a nearby bench and a pavement was scorched.
Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident has been urged to contact police on 612612, Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or by contacting the charity online.
