Immunosuppressed aged 6 months and above

Director of Public Health, Professor Peter Bradley said: “Flu viruses tend to change from season to season which means a new vaccine each year is necessary to ensure the best protection.

“Both flu and COVID-19 can cause serious illness, particularly to the most vulnerable in our community. I urge those who are eligible to arrange vaccination as early in the season as possible this will provide the best defence during the colder months when we spend more time indoors where viruses circulate more easily.”

Islanders can find out more information on both vaccination programmes at gov.je/wintervaccines.
