Two islanders have been saved after being trapped in a lift during a sixth-floor office building fire at 37 Esplanade.
The pair were rescued from the lift on the ground floor, with 25 firefighters tackling the blaze higher up in the office block.
The building has been evacuated, with everyone moved to safety, and no injuries have been reported.
Four fire engines were deployed to the scene with an aerial ladder platform and command support unit.
The cause of the fire is unknown, although JFRS says an investigation will commence in 'due course'.
The building is home to a number of finance and law firms, including VG, KPMG Channel Islands, PwC and Voisin Law.
