Firefighters have extinguished a kitchen fire that broke out just after 1pm this afternoon.
It happened at a property on the lower end of La Pouquelaye, with the emergency services being called at 1:18pm.
The road was closed for a time while two fire engines tackled the blaze that had broken out inside the St Helier premises.
Jersey Fire and Rescue says it left the scene just before 2pm and the road has re-opened:

It's understood that no one was injured in the fire, and an ambulance wasn't needed.
