Les Quennevais Sports Centre will remain closed on Friday for the clean-up of a chemical leak to continue.
The centre shut as a precaution on Thursday afternoon amid concerns fumes were escaping from the pool plant room.
The leak has been repaired, but the clean-up is ongoing with the help of the Fire Service.
A government spokesperson has apologised for the inconvenience and says it's hoped the work won't take too long.
Due to an incident yesterday Les Quennevais Sports Centre was closed to the public and will remain closed until noon on Friday 27th September.
