The Soup Kitchen in Jersey's Royal Square has raised £15,000 to help the homeless.
Hundreds of people purchased a warming winter lunch yesterday (13 December) in aid of the Shelter Trust.
35 flavours were on offer, donated by local hotels, restaurants and community groups.
Richard Robins says it was a hugely successful year:
"The organising team is incredibly grateful to Jersey’s public who came out in the cold today - perfect for soup - and donated this magnificent total."
So far in 2022 the Shelter Trust has helped more than 350 people, and the charity says demand for its services is as great as ever.
