Sienna and Arthur were the most popular baby names in Jersey last year.

Olivia is back in the top 10 for girls - along with Ellie, Maria, Valentina, Amelia, and Charlotte.

Freddie, Alex, Toby, and Sebastian are new entries on the boys' list.

890 babies were born in Jersey last year.

That's an increase of 27 on 2020.

827 people died in Jersey last year - the highest number registered since 2018.

It's an increase of 109 on 2020.

45 of the 827 deaths were Covid-related.

The number of marriages in Jersey more than doubled in 2021, when compared to 2020.

That is because the coronavirus pandemic meant no weddings were allowed in Jersey for several months.

There were 437 marriages last year, compared to 184 the year before.
