The Prince of Wales has written to the Channel Island Air Search, to thank volunteers for their work.
William - who is a former search and rescue pilot himself - says he recently heard about the charity.
The letter from Kensington Palace praises the team's 'extraordinary professionalism, commitment and dedication'.
His Royal Highness ends the note by expressing his 'admiration and heartfelt thanks' for all that CIAS do.

CIAS said it was truly honoured to receive a letter from Prince William.
"Supporting the search and rescue community is at the core of everything we do."
It comes as CIAS has had one of its busiest years, with twice as many callouts in 2024 than in 2023.
The service needs to raise £300,000 to keep the Lion's Pride plane in the skies, and hopes to replace vital radar and search software in 2025.
