Police are investigating after three men allegedly tried to steal a handbag from a woman in town last night (14 April).
It's reported that the woman, who is in her 20s, was followed from Devonshire Place into L'Empriere Street and then into Cannon Street, near the Parade Pub, at around 8:30pm.
She is in her 20s and wearing a light coloured jacket. The handbag was not stolen and she was not injured.
