Jersey's police headquarters had to be evacuated earlier after an islander took two WWII munitions into the building.
Just before 9am La Route de Fort was closed and sections of Police HQ were cleared for safety reasons.
Police say a member of the public had arrived at the station with two historic incendiary munitions.
The Bomb Disposal Officer was called to remove and discharge the devices.
Roads were then reopened and staff could return to their offices.
Police are reminding the public that if they find any potential explosives they should leave them where they are and call the police so that the BDO can deal with them safely.
