Jersey's Chief of Police has praised the community for enjoying England's dramatic World Cup victory without incident.
Pubs across the island were allowed to stay open until 4am for the game, which the Three Lions won 3-2.
A double from Jude Bellingham and a penalty from Harry Kane secured a quarter-final tie with Norway on Saturday.
Licence extensions were granted by the Bailiff's Chambers, following consultation with industry representatives and the police.
In a statement, Robin Smith said:
"I'd like to thank everyone who helped make the weekend such a success. In particular, I'd like to recognise the hard work of our officers, police staff and Honorary colleagues, alongside the licensed trade, who worked throughout a busy weekend.”
"Sport has a unique ability to bring communities together, and it has been wonderful to see so many islanders coming together to enjoy the World Cup. The vast majority of supporters celebrated responsibly, looked after one another and enjoyed the event in the positive spirit that we know and expect from our community.
"We now look forward to the next game against Norway and, who knows, perhaps beyond and hope supporters continue to enjoy the tournament in the same positive and good-humoured way."
Pubs who applied for a licence extension can continue to stay open until 2am to show World Cup games.
Saturday's fixture between England and Norway is due to kick-off at 10pm.
