Plans have been submitted to turn part of the La Pulente café site into tourist accommodation.
The building was once home to the Nude Dunes café, which shut its doors for good in November 2023 along with partner eaterie in St Aubin's Bay when the operators went bust.
Since then, the building has been unoccupied.

The site in St Ouen's Bay was previously a public toilet block, before planning permission was obtained to transform it into a café in 2016.
Applicant Nadia Miller wants to implement what is described in the planning document as a 'partial change' to the site, by converting part of it into a self-catering holiday let.

The application says this would enable its owner to 'explore options on making the café a viable business and to bring the premises into productive use'.
It also states that the holiday home would 'complement and diversity the café business'.

This application comes a month after around 200 people protested at the site against it being turned into accommodation due to concerns regarding the coastline.
St Brelade Deputy Montfort Tadier spoke to Channel 103 about why he was at the demonstration:
"I think there's strong concern about overdevelopment and the privatisation of certain areas.
"There has been a trend that we've seen in some cases in recent years and there is a feeling that the coastline needs the utmost protection."
