A person has been hit by a car in town, which was turning out of Charles Street.
The dark grey Toyota Prius was turning left onto Bath Street as the pedestrian was crossing the road at 10:55 a.m. on Thursday (24 August).
Shortly after, the person, carrying large sheets of wood, was hit by the vehicle and suffered minor bruising because of the incident.
Police particularly want to speak to the driver of a black Range Rover, who may be able to help with their investigation.
They were travelling along Bath Street at the time of the collision and had to stop as a result of it.
