The RNLI Jersey says its lifeguards had to rescue multiple people yesterday (9 July) who had been blown out to sea on inflatables.
It says people are being taken out by the strong offshore winds.
With more forecast at St Brelade’s Bay and St Ouen’s Bay, the orange 'no inflatables' windsocks will be flying, meaning they must not be taken onto the water.
The safety advice, it says, is to 'leave the inflatables unicorns in the pool.'
