Jersey Cricket has announced the return of Neil MacRae as Director of Cricket.
Neil MacRae is returning to Jersey Cricket, in what it's calling a 'homecoming' of a highly respected figure in the island’s cricket community.
Neil previously served Jersey Cricket for over a decade as Director of Cricket and Men’s National Team Head Coach.
Under his leadership, Jersey achieved multiple ICC tournament successes and helped establish Jersey as a competitive and respected team among associate nations.
Since, he has been Head Coach of the Netherlands Women’s national team, and now returning to Jersey Cricket, Neil will oversee all performance programmes, player development pathways, and coaching structures across the men’s and women’s games.
Neil says it's a privilege to be returning:
“The island holds a special place for me, and I’m proud of everything we achieved together during my previous time here.
"To come back, with new experiences from working in international women’s cricket, and to help drive the next stage of development, is something I’m genuinely excited about."
