Michael Morpurgo will be attending this year’s Jersey Festival of Words.
It has been announced the War Horse author will be coming to Jersey as part of his 80th birthday celebrations.
The internationally acclaimed children's writer will be visiting for the Jersey Festival of Words, which will take place between the 20 and 24 September 2023.
Mancunian poet, Simon Armitage will also be attending the festival and will be appearing on the opening night.
Festival Chair Jennifer Bridge says more authors will be announced in the coming months.
