A predator who subjected a woman to five hours of sexual abuse while she was unconscious has been jailed for six years.
Michael John O'Brien was convicted by a jury in April of five offences, including sexual penetration without consent. He was acquitted of rape.
In a prolonged assault which Jersey Police have described as 'heinous', the 41 year old also took videos which were found on his phone.
The court heard that his victim woke to him urinating on her.
Jersey's Royal Court sentenced him to six years in prison, including a one year concurrent term for voyeurism, and issued him with an indefinite restraining order.
Following his conviction, lead investigator DC Fewtrell said the crimes committed were 'appalling' and 'incomprehensible':
"This is something the victim will have to live with for the rest of her life.
"I would like to offer my thanks to the victim in this case for coming forward to the police and for showing tremendous courage and bravery."
