Another electric bus is being tested on Jersey's roads this week.
If successful, the new zero emissions bus could join the others in the fleet.
Two Sigma-8s came into service last December, at a cost of £335,000 each.
That followed numerous trials of various makes and models of electric bus over the previous few years.
This week another Yutong 9 is being tested on all bus routes. It is slightly longer than the one that was here in January 2023, at 9.5m.
It can take up to 62 passengers and can do 195 miles on a single charge.
LibertyBus Director Kevin Hart wants to explore the options:
"We are excited about trialling this electric bus on the island. The previous vehicle we trialled had great manoeuvrability and although this vehicle is 0.6m longer, we are confident it will be just as good.
Whilst we already have two electric buses in service, we feel it is important to try other vehicles on the market to find the right solution for Jersey."
The bus is on show outside Liberation Station from 11am to 1pm on 14 March so islanders can take a look inside.
