Eight parishes have elected their constables and nine have declared their Senator votes.

St Helier Central, and St Helier South have announced that they are pausing the Deputies count for the night, and will resume tomorrow morning.

Constables

Andy Jehan returns as Constable of St John.

St Martin has reelected Karen Shenton Stone as Constable.

Uncontested Richard Honeycomb has been elected as Constable of St Ouen.

Marcus Troy has been reelected as Constable of St Clement.

Tina Palmer, political newcomer, has been elected as Constable of St Lawrence.

Richard Vibert has been elected for a third term as Constable of St Peter, with 1,289 votes.

Andy Howell is elected as Constable of Trinity with 853 votes, ahead of Steve de Louche with 342.

David Johnson will return as St Mary Constable.

Senators

We have also had senatorial declarations for St Brelade, St Saviour, St John, St Martin, St Ouen, St Clement, St Lawrence, Trinity, St Mary and St Peter.

The current top nine for Senator are as follows:

Ian Gorst has topped in all but St Brelade, St Lawrence, and St Saviour where Miles was favourite.

We won't have a final result until all parishes have declared.

Each district is declaring the numbers for the 17 senatorial candidates, before moving on to the count for parish Constable.

Deputies will follow, with each of the nine districts returning two, three or four winning candidates.
