After 12 years, Sam Mézec has lost his seat in the States Assembly - losing out on a role as Senator.
Mézec has been a member of the States since 2014, joining at age 23.
He has most recently been Housing Minister, and was vying for an island-wide senatorial seat in this year's election.
But, he only managed a tenth place finish in the Senatorial standings, with only the top nine being elected:

Sam, coming 10th, received 9,374 votes.
Reform Jersey also lost Rob Ward from the assembly. The Education Minister stood for Constable of St Helier, but lost to Inna Gardiner.
Raluca Kovacs lost her seat as deputy in St Saviour.
Steve Luce has also missed out on election, he was the Environment Minister and was hoping to continue in the role in the next term.
